    What impact do you have?

    Responsibility for advancing our mobile apps (Digitec & Galaxus) comes with room for creative ideas to enhance the consistency of the mobile shopping experience.

    Hands-on involvement in the conception, implementation, testing, and release of smart native features is a key part of the role.

    Taking ownership of the entire app cycle includes continuously improving quality by addressing issues and planning and executing refactoring efforts.

    Within the team, the agile process is shaped collectively, focusing on small tasks with short iterations to maximize customer value.

    Supporting less experienced engineers in their daily work and actively sharing knowledge strengthens the team as a whole.

    Open, transparent, and clear communication is essential. Providing and receiving constructive feedback is encouraged.

    What do you offer?

    Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college)

    in Computer Science or related field.

    Recent experience

    in mobile app development with native technologies over several years.

    English (business fluent)

    German (Basic knowledge)

    Higher education degree in computer science (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent relevant professional experience is required.

    Recent experience in mobile app development with native technologies over several years is essential.

    Passion for iOS app development, along with expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Swift Concurrency, and Swift Package Manager, is highly valued.

    Openness to working on an app that incorporates WebViews is important.

    Familiarity with testing iOS apps, including unit tests and UI tests, is expected.

    Strong understanding of agile software development principles is beneficial.

    English proficiency is required, along with either existing German skills or a strong motivation to learn the language on the job with support from our education programs.
